driving a stolen golf cart and found to be covered in blood.

Finally, in Chicago, an 18-year-old is charged with murder in connection with the slaying

of a Marine veteran.

WVLT News 8 reports that 49-year-old board a patrol agent Dana Thornhill was taken into

custody in Arizona on Thursday, April 9th, following an armed standoff.

Thornhill is being charged with sexual contact with a minor and sexual abuse of a child.

Lieutenant Sean Brownson spoke for the Sierra of VISTA Police Department told the Arizona

Republic that Thornhill was the subject of a lengthy child sex abuse probe by the

department in connection with Homeland Security.

He was suspected of abusing multiple children in the area continuously.

As a part of the investigation, officers surveyed Thornhill and according to Lieutenant

Brownson made the decision to arrest him on Thursday because his criminal actions and

law enforcement experience made him a danger to the public.
