Today, the company refreshed its high-end MacBook Pro lineup with new M5 Pro and M5 Max chips.

And this is a little bit of spec soup.

I don't know how you do this otherwise.

So apologies, but get hungry.

The M5 Pro scales from 15 to 20 CPU cores, 16 to 20 GPU cores.

Now, keep in mind CPU, that's kind of faster processing,

GPU, faster video processing. So that's kind of what you would see out of those increases.

Up to 48 gigs of unified memory. The M5 Max standardizes on an 18 core CPU paired with 32 or 40 GPU cores for heavier pro workloads.

These are really targeting pro workloads overall.

The entry M5 MacBook Air jumps $100 to $1099, so $1100, doubles its base storage to $512

gigs, along with 16 gigs of RAM.
