Leading off today, a new Counterpoint Research Report shows that the iPhone 17 overtook the iPhone 17 Pro Max and became the world's best-selling smartphone during the first quarter of 2026.

Last month's global top-10 best-selling smartphones ranked the iPhone 17 Pro Max at the top for Q4, accounting for 5% of global sales,
