Hello and welcome to the Apple Insider podcast. This is your host, Steven Robles, and joining

me this week is my friend Wes, who's going to be getting his pro max as you hear this

recording most likely. How are you doing Wes? Good. Just trying to think about the difference

between saying max versus max. I know. It was a confusion already before we started

the show. I said, we're going to talk about the max. And then we're going to talk about

the max. And yes, that is exactly phonetically the same. Was that a hominem? Yes, that's

right. Sounds the same. Two different thing. Apple had a little event that earlier this week,

it was notably actually just about the one thing. The M1 chip and the max they're launching,

we did not see any Apple TV, AirPods Studio, air tags, nothing. It was all about the max

only. Were you surprised by that at all? A little bit. I was expecting at least an accessory

of some kind, just something. But yeah, Mac only event 45 minutes right off on the diet.

It's kind of wild. It was. I mean, it was very short. I mean, when they were ending kind

of know when it's coming to the end, because you see Tim cook back up there and he starts

talking about how amazing things are. And it's like, is there going to be anything? Nope,

nothing new, nothing else. You know, that was interesting. I'm curious if we won't see

a random press release though in the next week or two. I feel like those AirPods Studio,

maybe even air tags could do a press release. Do you think that's going to happen?

I don't think so. I mean, those two devices are definitely holiday gifts. The air tags being a

good stocking stuffer at the studios, starting it probably $400, $500 are a big gift item.

If they announced it now or in the next two weeks, we wouldn't see it on sale until mid-december.

And you'd be out there trying to buy it on Christmas Eve. It's not really going to happen.

And Apple likes hitting their holiday seasons. I'm guessing that again, it just was too
