I'm just back from the Arctic Circle and I was fine there. I get into my office. I get a cold.

Has anything at all happened in Apple News for last fortnight?

Well, luckily, no.

Tim Cook took a nap.

There's really nothing to discuss here, and iPhones are selling like Gangbusters. And we're good to go. No, actually, for whatever reason, it's like they wait for you to leave. And then everything that could happen happens. I'm pretty sure that the executive page is just Tim Cook at this point, and she's just

running the show. I think he's actually on the factory floor building iPhones as we speak.

I can tell every time we got into port, I was on a cruise ship going through Norway and the Northern

lights, all that stuff, and literally no internet for most of it. A couple times I ran Trump,, so I went to it, and I don't know what, I ran to Apple Insider

to see had PixelMator Pro and Motion and Mainstage been released for the iPad yet, and they

hadn't, and I went to where, but I had this vague sense that everybody was going away on the holiday.

And you're telling me that it's executives leaving Apple in droves.

And that really concerns me, because as I understand it, about a dozen people have gone.

And so Apple is bereft.

It's got only 160 odd thousand staff members left to struggle on without them.

Or actually, am I wrong?

And it's actually more serious than I'm making that sound.

So it's a combination of things.
