How you doing over there William?

Oh, well actually distraught because as we record this last night all of those

well loads of those services they went down and actually I didn't notice because I was asleep

time zone things but it did let me think that I'm more Apple service dependent than I realized. So I'm concerned is how I am. How are you over there?

Fine I find it funny though that we rely so heavily on these things that all it takes is an outage to realize that you know a cloud sink and

everything else just disappearing suddenly becomes a problem. I remember when I first worked on magazines I was in London 120 of us working across four

computer magazines.

There was a massive power cut, and I was the only one

who didn't even notice, because I was reviewing a laptop at the time,

and it just went over to battery power.

I looked up, and everybody else was leaving. They were going home.

They've been taught, well what about me? And I sat there lonely, into the night, until the battery died about 40 minutes later.

Those were the days. Long battery life. Very extensive. The fact that it stayed on at all is a miracle.

Yeah, at the time I was impressed, but there we go. I did see one person say well okay Apple

music's down so I'll go download Spotify at the App Store was also down so I guess at

that point you just go pull out a drawer of CDs and pray.

I'm not sure.
