On March 6, Apple CEO Steve Jobs unveiled the iPhone Software Roadmap. The iPhone Enterprise Beta Program gives IT professionals the opportunity to try iPhone 2.0 software and provide Apple with feedback before general release. Upcoming iPhone support for Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync and industry-standard corporate security standards will allow IT professionals to seamlessly integrate iPhone into their enterprise environments. The iPhone Developer Program provides a complete and integrated process for developing, debugging, and distributing your free, commercial or in-house applications for iPhone and iPod touch.

0:45.0	about the iPhone software roadmap.
0:48.0	We've been working really hard on this
0:50.0	and we've got some really cool stuff to announce.
0:53.0	So let's get on with it.
0:55.0	Before we get into the details, I just want to share a few statistics
1:00.0	about how far we've come with the iPhone in just the first eight months
1:04.0	since we started shipping it.
1:06.0	If you look at the US smartphone market in just eight months,
1:11.0	the iPhone has garnered a 28% market share, second only to rim,
1:17.0	and dramatically ahead of third, fourth, and all the others.
1:23.0	So we're pretty excited about this.
1:25.0	This is a fourth calendar quarter data here.
1:28.0	So that's the first thing.
1:33.0	The second thing though is as you know,
1:36.0	the iPhone is really bringing the internet to a mobile device
1:39.0	for the first time.
1:41.0	You really do have the internet in your pocket.
1:44.0	And that's being borne out by the usage statistics
