826 National is a nonprofit organization that provides strategic leadership, administration, and other resources to ensure the success of its network of eight writing and tutoring centers. 826 centers offer a variety of inventive programs that provide under-resourced students, ages 6-18, with opportunities to explore their creativity and improve their writing skills. We also aim to help teachers get their classes excited about writing. Our mission is based on the understanding that great leaps in learning can happen with one-on-one attention, and that strong writing skills are fundamental to future success. Last year our tutoring centers — located in Ann Arbor, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Seattle and Washington, DC — served over 29,000 students.

1:00.1	from Speak With Wells there at Upright Citizens Theatre and whatnot, and told everybody,
1:05.9	I have been in a time machine, I have come forward, I have spoken in the past tense about my work and my life
1:13.3	because from a time when I am long dead. And I am sorry to say that from telling everybody
1:19.6	about this story about me, I was immediately thrown, as I saw very often in my lifetime have
1:26.1	been, into a hospital for people with broken brains.
1:31.4	And there did I spend quite a while
1:34.0	until I was able to escape by poisoning some people
1:40.2	and dressing up like the people I poisoned and saying,
1:43.3	Good night, I've had a good day at work today at the hospital of broken brains and going about my business before they figure it out but so anyway that's what happened my point of it if there is a point to this story is if you ever go in time to some place, whether it's forwards or it's backwards, when you get home and people say, where have you been?
2:07.9	Don't tell them the truth because they will think you have a broken brain.
2:12.4	Simply say, I have been to the market or some place that you will go.
