Secret Service agents intercepted apparent pipe bombs sent to both Hilary Clinton and Barak Obama.

And this morning, CNN's headquarters in New York were evacuated when another device was found there.

The president has regularly gone after the news network and those Democrats on the campaign trail,

but today he called for unity.

I just want to tell you that in these times, we have to unify. We have to come together

and send one very clear, strong, unmistakable message that acts or threats of political violence.

Of any kind, have no place in the United States of America.
