This week Clay is in western North Carolina sitting with some lifelong Appalachian bear houndsmen. Ira Jones, Roy Clark and Ronnie Bateman sit down for a candid discussion about breeding bear hounds and how relationships have helped them build their pack. These guys are all Plott men and used their alliance to build better dogs than they could have ever built on their own. They also talk about what it takes to have great bear dogs.
