Hey everybody, Brock here. Well, Brock's speed anyway. And today I'm going to tell you

0:13.4

about some minimalist running shoes from a company called SCORA. Now as you can see,

0:18.7

I've got three different pairs here and you might wonder why I need three different pairs. Well,

0:24.0

I don't really need three different pairs but these ones right here, their size nine and a half

0:29.2

and I wear them bare feet when I'm doing a triathlon. These ones in the middle here are size 10

0:35.8

and I use those when I'm doing 10ks or half marathons and I just wear a very light pair of

0:42.4

running socks in there and these ones right here, their size 10 and a half and I use those

0:47.6

through the winter when I needed to wear some thicker wool socks because it was snowy and gross

0:53.0

up there. So you certainly don't need three different pairs but I'm that kind of guy.

All right, let's take a closer look at the shoes. They're pretty awesome looking as you can see.

1:04.2

They're very spiffy. I like the look a lot and I'll pick this one up and as you can see, this is

1:10.1

1:16.7

as it is in the front. I believe these ones here are eight millimeters. The sole is eight millimeters

1:23.8

thick without this insul in there. You can slide in there. You can take them out to make it a little

1:29.6

easier to get the shoes on and off and also to reduce the padding even more if you find these

1:36.6

minimalist shoes to be still too much. You can always take the insul out. These ones are even thinner

1:41.9

than these ones. I think they go down to eight millimeters or so you can go and actually find

1:47.6

all the information on Scora's website. It's probably better than trusting my memory. But let's go

1:55.1

back to the shoes. One thing that I'll say about these shoes, as much as I love them, as much as

2:01.6

I endorse them, you really need to be careful when you're transitioning into them. I bought these

2:07.3

guys back in October with the plan that I was going to wear them in at the end of November,

2:13.1

beginning of December for the Asia Pacific triathlons in Puket. I was completely crazy to think that
