Welcome to William Ramsey Investigates on tonight show of a very special guest.

His name is Matt Slick.

He is the proprietor of a very thorough, well-researched website titled

carm.org. The acronym stands for Christian apologetics and research ministry.

He's published two parts, two-part books on the topic of apologetics and atheism.

The title of the books are apologetics and atheism, exposing atheism weaknesses, volume

one and two. I've only read the the second part so maybe he can fill out

on one but those aren't his only books he's also published examining islam in 2016 notes on

calvinism 2017 christian defense manual published 2020 he's also written three fictional books, Time Trap, The Influence, and Atheistica, an Atheist Nation, published 2020. But we're going to go into more detail about this subject of apologetics and atheism. So Mr. Matt, Slick, are you there?

For people who may not have heard of your background or name, can you talk about

kind of your journey through Christianity, what led you to start this website, Karm, and write

this book, Apologetics and Atheism?

Well, sure.

So my name is Matt Slick, S-L-I-C-K. It's not a fake name. I sometimes get that, like a radio alias or whatever, but no, it's my real name. And moved, I've moved 26 times before I was 12 years old, was involved in the occult pretty heavily. Seeing things, I get a a lot of stories about that, but I had a very, very, very dramatic

conversion to Christianity when I was 17. I'm 64 now.

And so I've always had this ability to remember things and think logically and critically.
