Well, welcome back to Fearless as we kick off 2025.

And I'll just go ahead and say Happy New Year.

Although I've heard there's like social dilemma and debate on when you're technically supposed to stop saying,

happy new year.

But we're still in January.

It's my first time back with you.

So I believe it's still appropriate. So happy new year. December was crazy in my household. We had lots of sickness, medical emergencies, and all the madness that goes into the holidays that fall on mom's shoulders all the time. Just December was exhausting. So I decided when January kicked it off,

I just told my producer, I need a couple extra weeks before getting back into the routine of Fearless. But a lot has happened over the last few weeks and the months since I've been with

y'all here on Fearless. Of course, we just had the inauguration of President Donald Trump.

And it is crazy to think we have a new president.

And what a day in history that we witnessed in America on January 20th. And if I was to be

honest, I never thought we would witness that. And my takeaway from the inauguration is that I believe

God has given us more time as Christians. We have time to stand for truth. We have time to teach the truth.

We have more time to preach the gospel because I think that window, and my dad would often say,

that the window is getting short to preach the gospel. And so I want to encourage you to believe

that God has been gracious and given us more time under this current administration who is more

friendly to faith that we should

be diligent in our time. We can't just sit back these next four years and take it for granted

and relax. But this is time that we should be diligent, teaching the next generation and preaching

the gospel and to use it and to see what God would use you even in your own community.
