"'Thank you for reading my previous submission "'and for giving us a judgment-free area

"'to tell our experiences.

"'This story I did not mention in my previous post

"'because I am still not sure what to make of it,

"'or how I feel about it.

"'However, I have been thinking of putting it out there to see if anyone

else had experienced something like this. In my previous submission, I had mentioned I grew up in a

haunted house, all of which followed me into adulthood. The topic I want to tell you about today

happened when I was eight years old. It was an early October fall day, where days

are getting shorter, and the weather is cooler. It was after school, and it was the sweet

spot between homework being done for the day, and dinner being served. My two older brothers and I

were in the living room burning off some energy by play-fighting and sweating to the

oldies with Richard Simmons in the dark. There was nothing unusual about what we were doing.

My dad had just come home. He greeted us and then walked down the long hallway to the kitchen

to visit my mom. Pretty soon we hear, kids, go wash up for dinner. My two brothers took off towards the

bathroom first, and I took a bit and started walking with every intention of going down to the main

floor bathroom as well. I walked down the hallway toward the bathroom, which was just off the kitchen,

and I remember, between the first and second antique chandeliers, a lukewarm drop of
