Let me just be very, very clear about what's going on on the right.

There is this theory based on a book called Camp of the Saints that is widely read across people

on the hard right, the racist hard right, and it's called the great replacement theory.

And the idea is that white people are being replaced in the United States and across

Western nations. This book was actually originally written in French and published in France.

The addition in the United States is an American translation.

And that this is an intentional act to, quote, destroy Western civilization, which means white

Christian civilization, and replace it with brown and Muslim and, you know, and, you know,

black and whatever, right, just it's not white people.

And this is why the guys were chanting in Charlottesville, you will not replace us.

And what he was saying is that, you know, you, or what they were saying was you as a culture,

and then the, then the next chant was Jews will not replace us.

And that was a specific reference to George Soros, because part of the great replacement theory

is that George Soros, being a Jewish billionaire who funds pro-democracy projects around the world,
