Welcome back in to the Arrowhead Pride interview, series I Am, Steven Serta.

Continuing our series on the Chiefs 2022 draft class, and today we are very happy to be joined by

Augie Hoffman. Augie is the offensive line coach at Rutgers. He's an

third season at Rutgers, where he spent his first two years as the running backs coach.

So, Augie's been kind enough to give us some of his time today to chat about new chiefs

running back Isaiah Pacheco. Augie, how are we doing this morning? Good morning, Steve.

I do a great man. Appreciate you having me on. We're really excited to chat with you,

and I think I speak for Kansas Hiefs fans when I say they're really intrigued by Isaiah's game.

He's an exciting player, and I think he's a player who could really work to find a role in

this Kansas City Chiefs system. And so, we're really excited to chat with you about him.

If you had to tell chiefs fans one thing that they need to know about Isaiah before they get a

chance to see him in action at training camp, what would that be? Sure, I think you hit it on the

head. I mean, he's a guy that's going to work. Obviously, playing the game, coaching the game,

you're around a lot of football players. His work ethic is up there with some of the best that I've

ever been around and I've ever coached. So, they need to know that that kid's going to do everything

he can to help that team win football games. Yeah, and it seems kind of apparent when you really

kind of dig into what Isaiah brings to the table, just kind of his all-around game.

And I don't know if you saw this photo of him, Augie, but it was him chatting with the media at

the NFL Combine. And as soon as they took him in the seventh round, chiefs fans were obviously
