deputy editor, John Dixon, John, we're about 15, 16 days away from the NFL drafts. How

are you preparing for what is a long weekend of coverage?

Well, I'm just trying to get a lot of rest. I've also been playing around with the draft

value chart, which I'll be writing about as soon as I can.

If you heard, I mean, that is a complicated chart.

Well, what I've learned is that the draft value charts that we have used over the years

aren't exactly right. Some of that's obvious and some of it's less obvious, and I'm going

to dig into that when I put this piece together, ultimately, up to this point, I've just done

research on it. But it's the time of year that I've got time to do that kind of research.

So it'll be interesting. I promise it'll be an interesting article.

Now, I'm even more excited for the podcast. You know, there's nothing that gets me going

like a preview to an article. We're going to be throwing up on Arrowhead Pride.com. So

look out for that. We're going to be rethinking the draft value chart, which is great because

we're trying to get ahead of it here. And particularly this year, when your Kansas City

chiefs have 12 picks, you want to know, can they move up? What would it take to move

up to certain positions? We've said a number of times that we think the chiefs aren't going

to be picking at 29 or 30. We think it'll be much earlier, but what do you have to flip

to get much earlier? What do you have to flip to get ahead of the Green Bay Packers who

are picking in the early 20s? All right. We're getting ahead of ourselves. We need to
