Hi Monica. Hi Monica. You are listening to Dear Progressor, a monthly episode full of notes

from your fellow progressors of the About Progress community. My friends, it's with so much joy

that I am preparing this Dear Progressor episode for you. The last time we did it was at the

very end of December and I discovered some submissions after I had released the episode.

And so we get to hear from a few more of those amazing women today and what 2020 taught them

and some other insights they had. And one of the reasons I'm so overjoyed to talk to you today

is because I feel like we are starting to turn a corner after a very long and hard year plus.

I know that I'm not the only one who looked back at March 2020 a lot at the past month

and contemplated a lot about what I've learned, how I've changed. And I honestly think I have been

changed in ways that are inalterable. Like I know that I have been profoundly changed by the

past year. One of the most profound ways for me has been with my own emotional processing.

As you heard in our episode with Jessica Hottel last week, I am one of those people that

doesn't feel super emotional. I tend to out numb, outrun, outproduce my emotions. I like to just

move forward. And in many ways I was forced to reckon the past year plus with my emotions in

ways I was not comfortable doing in the past. But I am grateful for how I have changed

and I know there's so much more to come. There's more to come to for my own personal growth

and development. When I learn about who I learn from and this community is something that

also when I look back I'm just grateful for the way that you have sustained me. And I hope

that I have been able to sustain you as well. So with all that in mind, this deer progress

or episode is going to be a bit shorter. And I'm going to blame myself for that. I sent out

a plea to submit to have people submit their voice notes for us. And I didn't get any. And I think
