Summary

This is a power-packed episode meant to teach you how to play off your strengths, to add purpose to your present life. If that sentence, or just the title, has you bringing up your guards, wait just a second! All the questions you need to ask yourself are here for you to use right away, to learn how your strengths can guide your path. Tallia Deljou is a coach and podcaster with a background in positive psychology. Her bright perspective on helping women find joy in their purpose and strengths is evident. This interview also does not shy away from the depths this type of journey can take, but is equipped with the tools to help you. For many women the simple question of "What are your strengths?" isn't so simple at all. Everyone has their own personal story for why that is, but we can all learn how to find an answer. It starts with understanding fear, then considering skills versus strengths and ultimately challenging ourselves to continue in purpose. As you tune in, keep a mental or physical list to narrow in on your strengths and let them serve you on your path. About a few other things... My daughter used to struggle so much with math, it was often a battle to get her to finish her work. But for several months we've been using Revolution Math (paid for with my own money!) to provide her small group tutoring that she now actually looks forward to doing. Use code 'ABOUTPROGRESS' to get the starter kit and first month for only $1. With all this time we have been spending at home, some of my organization struggles have been on the forefront of my mind. In January I released an organization audio course to help you learn how to cut the clutter and find clarity. That is still available to you before prices go up May 1st. Purchase before then for some BIG additional bonuses - 3 months of office hours style coaching and private membership group access. Use code 'ABOUTPROGRESS' for a discount, too! Make sure you're signed up for the Go Getter Newsletter to get each episode's Progress Pointers straight to your inbox every Thursday. As part of that, they ask him what his strengths are,

and he says, well, why didn't I tell you about what my greatest weaknesses are?

I work too hard, I care too much,

and sometimes I can be too invested in my job. I love this so much. Now I want to apply this to you.

Let's say that you were in your own job interview for something and they ask you what your greatest strengths are.

Would you be able to answer that and I'm not just talking about Michael Scott style but could you

genuinely say these are the strengths that I have, these are the characteristics that make up who I am. These are the ways I can

value myself and know that I have this to contribute. It makes me sad that as women

All month long we've been talking about how to live with purpose instead of just finding our purpose.

1:25.4

And a big part of that to me that cannot be ignored is also recognizing the strengths that we have within us and then working to make them even stronger so that we can continue

1:36.8

to cultivate living with purpose every single day. And again, not perfectly.

That's my that's my amo right?

Today's guest is Tullia del Jieu and she is going to help you figure out better how to

recognize what strengths you have than how to build off of them so that you better know what your path can be ahead of you.

When there's so much unknown right now, so much that we can't predict, I do believe that there's so much within us

2:02.2

that we can recognize and lean into and give that as a gift to ourselves and those around us.
