Okay, another fun week of podcasting, Hawkins is the guest this week, he was on a long, long time ago, I don't know if I could sing any better than that, I'm not much of a singer.

Hawkins was on when he was in the WWE, now he's in a different world, his name isn't even Kurt Hawkins anymore, his name is Brian Myers, did you know that?

The Prince of Queens, Brian Myers, it's a whole different thing, you gotta make a whole different name for yourself, that company pushed a specific name for a long time, I don't know how well they pushed Kurt Hawkins' name, but they're brand marketing a name, and they're pushing a Kurt Hawkins name, and now he's no longer there, and it's not like they're gonna help him push any other name.

So now it's his job to go out there and Brian Myers the fuck out of his name all over the independent wrestling world, and just the wrestling world in general.

Okay, one thing about this talk we had, at one point you'll hear it, and don't break down this podcast too much, but I had to point my mind, and I know what it was, and I couldn't figure it out, because it was a late night podcast, and it's just the time that we did it.

But we start talking about possibly making these figures, and then possibly being under a Demdwee contract, and the idea of selling merch versus maybe selling merch as an independent wrestler, and it's a hard line for me to speak, especially on here, because I do wanna come off as a guy, and I think I do come off as a guy who's sincere, and I'm telling you how I'm going about things, but at the end of the day, right?

I don't think it's ever been hidden of that I'm some kind of businessman, whether good or bad, I'm attempting to run some kind of business, which is my life.

And when you are in the WWE and you're selling action figures, you don't really care, I guess, I mean you'd love to have 90% of the sales, but you're just told what you get, and that's what you get, because you're under this deal, and if they're like somebody else, we'll do a better deal, they'll just grab that other person, and that's just the way it is, it's the way it's been accepted for years.

And when Ryan and I, when our T's started pro wrestling, T's, it was that we want the wrestlers to get a giant percentage of their T-shirt sales, because independent wrestlers aren't branding machines, or machines in the sales, they're just trying to make a living.

So my main argument, I guess, and I don't wanna get in too much logistics of it, is that if I sign a deal to do figures, it's hard for me to sign away the rights, and then watch somebody sell them, and then not get any money,

besides what I paid over the rights for, and like, yeah, it's hard to come on here, and even say that, because I know that sounds greedy, but on the other hand, WWE has this machine, or even T&A, or even I guess Ring of Honours is starting to get them, and some of the guys that they've grown, made homegrown names.

You know, they have a machine where they can push, you know, a television show, or whatever it is, or even if it's their YouTube show, but I feel as independent wrestlers, it's like literally just us, and nobody pushing us.

So if we're the ones, if we're the us's that are pushing it, like we should be able to reap those benefits, and that's kind of where my moral, slash money, slash support, slash good slash bad business lies on.

So that's kind of where my head is, where that is, and that, I don't know if it took a lot for me to just come on here and say like, I want all the money, because it sounds greedy as fuck, but I know it sounds greedy as fuck, but to me, it's more like, I don't want somebody else to have money, when that could have been mine for all the hard work in the years that I put in.

I'm just going to sound like a greedy asshole, I'm sorry, don't hate me, but that's, that's just the way my Jewish mind, Jewish mind works, but at the same time on the other side is that somebody providing services that I would in no way able to do, which would be making a figure, fuck I don't know how to do that, what a trade, and the people that would ever to put these on would know exactly how they're doing it, and have done years of experience, and probably that's their trade just like Ryan with the t-shirts.
