Summary
The Australian Open delivered one of the most extraordinary Grand Slam days on Thursday as Elena Rybakina was beaten 22-20 in a deciding set tiebreak by Anna Blinkova, Jessica Pegula lost to Clara Burel, Iga Swiatek somehow survived against Danielle Collins, Holger Rune was upset by Arthur Cazaux, and Daniil Medvedev was left playing on the Rod Laver at gone 3am. Catherine, David and Matt get stuck into the wonder and absurdity of it all.
