Mitch McConnell has announced that he's got enough votes to pass the tax bill, the

tax the Republican tax scam. This after the New York Times last night

reported and I quote the powerfully the politically powerful Coke network warned Republican senators on

Thursday not to adopt a last minute change to their tax bill that would help

low-income parents in exchange for a slightly smaller cut at the corporate tax rate.

Oh, you can't do that. You've got to cut our damn taxes. I don't care about low

income parents, right?

So that's happening as we speak.

Marco Rubio accidentally spoke the truth.

He was interviewed by Politico yesterday and this from the Los Angeles Times

the headline Senator Rubio tells a secret. After giving a tax cut to the rich, the Republicans

will cut Social Security and

Medicare and so they they said how do you how do you justify the increase in the

deficit and rubio said the argument would be we can't cut taxes because that would drive up the deficit.

That assumes that somehow we can fix the deficit through higher taxes and we can't.
