Come in your way in 329. And this first story comes to us from John in Virginia, the Blackburn Inn.

Hi, Lex, happy belated 20th anniversary of anything ghost.

Last month, my fiancé and I took a trip to Stanton in Virginia.

We stayed at the Blackburn Inn and took our dog with us.

The Blackburn Inn was once a mental health resort

and became an overcrowded insane asylum.

Finally, the property became a prison for a short time.

The main buildings on the property that have since been remodeled have been turned into a nice

hotel and spa.

Understandably, the inn has a reputation for being extremely haunted.

There are dozens of unmarked graves in the back that visitors can pay their respects to,

as well as the old woman's insane asylum ward that is still under renovation next to the main hotel building.

The afternoon we checked into the hotel, the power was completely out.

This is apparently extremely unusual because of the inn's proximity to the downtown area.

We were still able to check in, and we decided to take a nap and waited out before exploring.

We woke up as the lights came back in the evening, and we immediately felt a new sense of unease.

The first night was mostly uneventful, except that we heard footsteps going up and down the hallway
