number 2996. Okay, the first story we have is from Nate in Alabama, ghosts of Alabama.

When I was around 10, my parents and I moved from big city Tennessee to very rural Alabama.

I was very upset about the move, so my parents let me help pick the house.

I picked a beautiful two-story house in a neighborhood lined with huge old Victorian houses.

It had been built in the 1950s so it wasn't that old.

But right when we moved in, all three of us had eerie feelings in the house,

like someone was constantly watching us.

The first two weeks in the house were very unsettling. We heard

doors slam upstairs and shuffling sounds, as well as the sound of boxes being dragged across

the floor. About a year later, my brother, wife, and nephew moved in with us. Right off the bat, my nephew started experiencing things.

He always said, Miss Cole won't stop bothering me.

We had no idea who Miss Cole was.

So after a few incidents with my nephew, my dad started to do research on the house.

He found out that the house had been built

by the Cole family, and Miss Cole was one of the three people who had passed away in the house.

They all died on the second story in the room we kept hearing all the sounds in.

The Haunted Lyle House, Chattanooga, Tennessee.

In 1978, Mrs. John T. Lyle owned an old home that had been built in 1860.

When first entering through the front door of the old house,

the visitor would be greeted by a hallway with a set of stairs.
