Hands across the walls.

I just moved into my new apartment, August 1st of this year.

It's an old apartment building, but has been renovated rather nicely.

One night as I lay asleep in bed, I was awakened by a huge crash.

I jumped out of bed, looked around, and saw nothing was out of place, or fallen. But sleepy I got out of bed and walked across the hall to the bathroom.

When I got back, I flipped on my light to see what, if anything, had indeed fallen.

But I saw nothing.

Then I started to lie back down and looked across the room.

On the wall was some kind of strange-looking handprint.

It looked like someone with a wet hand had touched the wall.
