The haunting of Townly Court.

Prior to 2010, I was quite skeptical about ghosts, having grown up in the type of religious

environment that dictated the only thing in the afterlife is either heaven or hell.

This left no room for further interpretation.

In 2010 I moved into Old Town East.

As I began speaking more to my neighbors and learning more about the historic neighborhood's

history, I realized just how haunted Columbus is, but particularly Old Town East.

The neighborhood is stationed just east of Columbus, which is Ohio's capital, and it's considered

part of the city. In the decade I lived in Old Town East, the events that occurred around me and to me turned me into a believer of ghosts and things unexplained.

Old Town East is a neighborhood located in the historic near east side of Columbus, Ohio, and is one of Columbus's oldest neighborhoods. The area has over

1,000 homes, some as old as the 1830s, and more than 50 architectural styles as a result of its history.
