This is the 19th anniversary of Anything Ghost.

I started it in, I think it was January 29th of 2006.

I can't believe it's been running that long.

In fact, that song at the beginning was a theme I'd written for my favorite podcast at the time called

The Haunted New Jersey podcast.

And they already actually had intro music, pretty cool stuff, so they didn't use my song.

But then they began using it in the background at the beginning while they talked about things.

So I decided to move it over to my podcast.

So after, I mean, move it off of my podcast.

So after about three episodes, I wrote that theme song

that you now are all familiar with.

And I'll play that at the ending when we exit the podcast.

Anyways, I realize this episode is running late, but some

things came up that knocked me off track. For one, our dog, Jetty of 15 years, she was a lovely

creature. She passed away from cancer. Well, we actually had to put her to sleep, and we did it in our home. And that's always difficult, but it was pretty tough because we made her the center of our lives.

And so that was a tough thing to do with. And then right after that, we both came down with COVID, even though we're vaccinated.

Actually, I was overdue for vaccination, but it actually wasn't too bad. It's kind of like a

mild flu, but it did knock my voice out for a few weeks, so I wasn't going to record then. And then

after that, we got a new pup, and his name is Ziggy. And we got him from Mexico. And they told us he was, I think, 10 months to a year old, but no, he was, if anything,

less than eight months old.

And he's been a lot of work, but he's a great, great little guy.
