Psalm 42. Psalm 42 is where we're going to be. The Lord put this on my heart.

Studying for like a one-off teaching is kind of difficult for me, but the Lord really put this on my heart.

I'm not even kidding. It's, again, it's been a hot week, and I'm studying and I'm studying at my house.

And my family and I moved to Western Loudoun a couple years ago. And in our backyard, it's beautiful.

We have the woods in the backyard.

But we've got all sorts of animals.

It's like Narnia that has just come to life.

If you want to go to the zoo, just come to my backyard.

We've got deer, snakes, gophers, frogs.

And I'm studying and I'm like, Lord, what do you want me to?

I don't know what to teach on.

And I literally am looking outside my window and all of a deer walks through our backyard.

And I instantly thought of Psalm 42.

The Lord put it on my heart.

And you'll see why, because in verse one, it talks about the deer that pans for the water.

And so I do want to talk about that today.

My theme for today is anyone who is thirsty.

And I really do believe that the Lord wants to speak to you

because if you're in a dry season right now,

the Lord wants to refresh you with His Holy Spirit.

If you've been through a dry season,

you understand how you can relate to this.
