I wanted to take a moment just expressed by gratitude to you all as a church.

You've given me the incredible gift of allowing me to be really transparent about what I've

been going through and talk about what has been a very unusual season of personal anxiety

for me.

I don't think all of my peers have that luxury to always be really transparent.

There's a lot of pressure on pastors to be perfect or at least almost perfect.

I don't feel that and so I just wanted to tell you thank you.

I also want to say in this message series that we're speaking about anxiety from a spiritual

perspective.

I'm telling you that because I'm also acknowledging that anxiety is a very complicated subject.

And so as we deal with it, we're going to approach it holistically, recognizing that

it can be physiological.

It can be psychological emotion, it can be situational.
