Welcome to the story-worthy podcast. Here are your host, Christine Blackburn and Hanna Svign.

0:27.7

Welcome to Storyworthy. I am Christine Blackburn, and I'm here with Hanna Svini, and we're at an audition room on the west side of L.A. Why? Because it's a place that causes us both anxiety. Oh, that's a good one, Hannis. I thought you were going to go to, like, a psychiatrist's office or something. I would have, but I don't actually remember any psychiatrist's names. I've tried to go in therapy myself over the years, but it never really took. And also psychiatrists or psychologists, social workers, those people are like the answer to what we're talking about. And tonight, we don't need to talk about the answer. We're talking about straight on anxiety. So we should actually be somewhere where parents gather. No, I think that's good. An audition is definitely, uh, makes me anxious. I'll tell you that.

1:11.1

Yeah, yeah. It all depends, especially when you walk in and there's either 15 people who look exactly like you. Right. Or 15 people who look nothing like you. Right, right. Which the second means they don't know what they're looking for. That's right. And so you'd rather see people look like you because then at least you have a chance.

1:27.7

Because if you walk in the room,

Monthly, that time of the month, menstrual. Oh, I see. Okay. I feel anxiety creeping up on me. I used to call it the Taliban. I would say to my husband, I'm in a bad mood. You know why? Because the Taliban's coming. The Taliban's down. So that's the modern version of Ant Flo.
