On this week's episode I was joined by PA native and good friend of mine, Chris Weist! Over the last couple of years Chris has really dialed in his hunting strategies that has led to more encounters and more success. Chris for example was successful last year killing 4 bucks in 3 different states all with different tactics! As hunters, we try our best to put in the work to scout and make up the best gameplan we can to find success. Well, sit back and enjoy this episode as Chris shares tactics, stories and scenarios that will help you this season! We begin this episode by hearing Chris share the importance of post season scouting that helps guide his decisions for the upcoming season. He uses his time scouting to get an understanding of the woods and how the deer in that area specifically use the terrain. Chris keeps tabs on the data he collects during the post season and during the season, especially when it comes to trail cameras. This allows him to map out where and when to hunt. We discuss the critical component of access and plans for hunting specific spots this fall. You will hear a ton of information when it comes to scrapes!
