So I'm recording this on June 27th, 2023, and this year, over 500 pieces of anti-LGBQ plus legislation has been introduced in state legislatures all over the country.

And part of the way I've tried to stay informed and up to date is by

following an amazing person named Alejandra Carabayo. Recently, I've heard her speak in a few

different forms and find that the way that she talks about these issues, the urgency that she

brings to it as well as a depth of

knowledge made me want to do a follow-up to the conversation I had with peppermint and Chase

earlier in the season. Alahandra Carabayo is a civil rights attorney, clinical instructor at

the Harvard Law School Cyber Clinic Clinic and a transgender rights advocate.
