I'm Jen Cutter. Let's start with what you need to know with the big story. Let's start with the

facts. Well, actually, they're all facts, but the less deceitful and scheming facts, Thursday,

Anthropic announced the release of its Claude Opus 4 and Claude Sonnet for machine learning models.

Opus 4 is designed for coding and working for long periods of time as an agent. Everybody's doing agents now.

This is one of Anthropics agents, Opus 4. As an example, a general manager at Rockaton,

who tested it said when our team deployed Opus 4 on a complex open source project, it coded

autonomously for nearly seven hours. You could just let it go and it does the coding.

Sonnet 4, the other model, emphasizes reasoning and efficiency.

So it can do coding, but it's less tuned for that.
