Welcome to the podcast. I'm your host, Jaden Schaefer. Today on the show, we're talking about what

0:04.5

Anthropic CEO Dario Amadeo has recently said at Davos. He's been criticizing Invidia and the Trump

0:11.2

administration in how they're handling AI chips getting sent to China. This is a really fascinating topic.

0:17.9

A lot of people are saying that he's talking his own book and wants his company

0:21.0

to be protected from China, but others say that he might actually have a point as he's bringing

0:25.4

up nuclear options, which are wild. So we're going to get into all of that on the show today.

Before we do, I wanted to mention if you want to be able to build any tools and you're not a developer,

0:35.9

I'd love for you to try out my own startup, which is AIbox.a.I. We have a tool vibe coder that lets you explain any tool you want to create, whether that's a newsletter generator or an email responder, all sorts of interesting tools you can do, and we will have our AI builder automatically create that for you. We'll link together different AI models, put in prompts for you and build a tool for you. You do not have to know how to code or be a developer. This is something I personally use and love and have automated a lot of tasks that I do every single day. If you want to check it out, go look at AIbox.ai. It's $20 a month and you also get access to all of the top AI models for $20. Month. So go check it out. There's a link in the description. All right. Let's get into

what Dario Ammon. and you also get access to all of the top AI models for $20 a month.

So go check it out.

There's a link in the description.

1:13.1

1:13.6

Let's get into what Dario Amadeo said.

1:15.6

So I think just as a little bit of a backup and a background on this,

1:19.3

last week, the Trump administration formally approved the sale of NVIDIA's H-200 chips.

1:25.5

And this is interesting because they had kind of previously walked back an earlier restriction.

1:30.0

They also approved some comparable AMD line chips, and all of these are going to be approved

1:35.5

to sell to China.

1:36.7

So they're not going to be the most cutting-edge processors that NVIDIA are AMD make, but they are

1:41.6

really powerful chips.

1:43.4

And what's really interesting is apparently

1:45.7

Dario Amadeo, the CEO of Anthropic, has been setting off alarm bells. And he recently on
