really just awful baseball in general

around here lately. I mean, you watch last night, you see the Mets invent ways to lose.

You see Little League home runs from the other team still not good enough to get a win.

Twelve runs still not good and good enough to get a win.

Nice story. A local boy made good. First career appearance in the major league level just an abomination just

everything that could go wrong for the met's and then you look at the new york yankees and last night

a brutal loss and yes yes it's a big game and they lost it and it was ugly and i know we're all

focused on the strikeouts and i don't know if you heard me last not on the go get them podcast, but I got to tell you, I know we're going to get wrapped up in strikeouts. And it's disgusting. Nobody likes to see strikeouts. And I'm actually going to ask a question at some point today, and we'll get to it, about whether or not, because I always hear about, oh, some of the way the Yankees lose and the no hitting,

oh, it's not only just losing, it's just impossible to watch. I'm curious to see if you had more fun watching the game last night with the Mets and all the runs. Is it fun? Because I think there's no fun way to lose a game. I've always felt this way. Is there a fun way to lose a baseball game? Was it fun last night when you had a 9-4 lead and you watch

your team spit it up and you think the soda home run is going to carry you and then you watch

your bullpen implode? Was that fun? Was it fun to watch the Yankee strike out 17 times for the

second consecutive night? There is no fun in losing. And we have had no fun around here. And last night for the Yankee fans specifically, and we'll get to the Mets as well at 888-808-101-19. But I know we got to talk about Anthony Volpe. And we're going to talk about Anthony Volpe. And I'm sick of talking about Anthony Volpe.
