Summary

Set to fight in Saturday’s light heavyweight co-main event at the UFC APEX, friend of the show Anthony “Lionheart” Smith returns to UFC Unfiltered for the thirteenth time on an episode that also features Jim Norton and Matt Serra talking to welterweight contender Sean Brady. With 55 professional MMA fights to his name, Smith explains how constantly breaking down film in his side job as a UFC analyst makes him more than comfortable with his decision to fight 11th-ranked light heavyweight Khalil Rountree Jr. on just two weeks' notice. Immediately after Smith’s interview, Jim and Matt are joined by Sean Brady — who shares what it was like to bounce back in the win column against Kelvin Gastelum after taking his first loss a little more than a year ago to Belal Muhammad. Brady wraps up his interview by doubling down on his post-fight callout of Ian Machado Garry, explaining that he’d love to see that fight happen in Atlantic City.
