There's some updates on Major League Baseball on the National Hockey League.

There's a Kevin White story, but first huge news in the NHL and from the sounds of achieve hockey is coming back.

It certainly sounds that way. So Gary Beppman had a kind of press conference over Zoom yesterday

and basically said that the NHL and the NHL PA have agreed on this format,

which is going to be the top 24 teams. So it's going to be 12 teams from each conference are going to have some sort of a playoff.

And what they're going to do is they're going to have two cities.

So they're going to have two hub cities and those are yet to be determined.

I would bet my life that one of them will be Vegas and then they're talking about maybe even Chicago as a second hub city.

And then they're going to they're going to have playoff. So everybody's in the same city.

They're going to be playing multiple games a day every day for about two and a half months.

And they're going to finish out the season that way. And it opens up with our Chicago Black Ocs

as the 12th seed in a best of five. So the first round is going to be kind of like a play in

where it's like five versus 12, six versus 11, seven, 10, eight, nine.

And they're going to play a best of five. So like you know, best three out of five.

Again, like neutral sites, no fans, all of that.

And then once the winner of that, the winner of that round will get into a 16 team playoff.

Like we've been accustomed to our entire life. So I think starting that for like the first true round,

you'll have best of seven. And then we'll you know, just kind of continue on and play the stand like up.

I think is mid September. So it's going to be fun. I mean, it's something it's better than nothing.
