Welcome to the Bronx Pinsripe Show, doing special episode just to talk about this. Trade deadline.

Andrew unfortunately could not be here and record. He had some dog shit internet up in Rhode Island and we tried, but it didn't work.

So you got me solo because we got to talk about this. We got to talk about what happened after we recorded yesterday.

Because of course, the Yankees make it deal literally five seconds after we have published

and get Anthony Rizzo to come in and play first base.

That's ridiculous.

First of all, this was not on the radar.

Did not see this one coming.

Did not even sniff this one.

But let me say that I am the first person to be very, very, very excited about this.

I really like Anthony Rizzo just as a player, as a person.

The dude's fun.

He's just, he brings another lefty bat, obviously.

Now the Yankees who were completely right-hand

heavy have not many, you know, opportunities to compete from the left side of the plate. It just

sounded like a coach. But now they have adding Gallo and adding Rizzo. I mean, now they have

beautiful, beautiful balance between righties and lefties

throughout this lineup. I don't know what this does to Luke Voigt. There's scenarios here.
