Welcome to the Bronx Pininstripe show.

Got a very busy episode for you today because more news has happened, not just with the Yankees, but around the league.

And also on this show, I checked in with friend of the pod, Kyle Banduho, who, Scott, I know you've been on his show a couple times.

I've been on his show a couple times.

He's been on this show a couple times. He's a twins fan and got his thoughts on on the trade that went

down. And because you probably felt the same way when you talked to him, we all kind of grew up in

that same era of baseball. You start talking baseball and then you just go down a dozen rabbit holes

of like late 90s early 2000s things so

we said we were going to do 10 minutes and we did like 35 minutes and it was it was just a fun combo but

stay tuned for that at the back half of the show he's also a baseball guy you know podcasts uh for baseball

america as well as as as has his show um that that that covers sports uh cinema so yeah he's a wealth of knowledge it's a

it's pretty easy to get down to down into a rabbit hole with uh with kyle yeah and uh this this

it's i think it's interesting the trade is is still interesting and and it kind of cool, cool to talk to him because he

felt similarly to the trade that we did, not to ruin anything, but just, you know, he was also

scratching his head like, okay, what's next sort of thing? Because that's sort of how it felt.

And for the Yankees, what's next was Anthony Rizzo is coming back.

On a two-year deal, $32 million with an opt-out after the first year.

Seems like they, you know, Freddie Freeman didn't work out for one reason or the other.
