Oprah continues her extraordinary interview with wrongly convicted death row inmate Anthony Ray Hinton, who shares a remarkable story about an unlikely friendship he formed in prison. 0:53.9	the Alabama criminal court appeal would rule every four years on your case. And once
0:59.5	they rule, either for your against you, if they rule against you, they send it to the
1:04.4	Alabama Supreme Court. It takes them approximately four to five years before they rule.
1:10.6	But at least is there some relief for as long as you are appealing, at least you know,
1:15.9	you can't be fried. Yes.
1:18.0	That's at least you know, that is the, that is the dessert of it. Yeah. Because they cannot
1:24.0	set your date. They cannot give you a date as long as you're appealing.
1:27.6	As long as you're appealing.
1:28.6	Yeah.
1:29.6	Once you appeal, it's completely exhausted. It's when the state of Alabama goes to the
1:35.0	Alabama Supreme Court in the action. How often were you thinking about? Because I don't
1:40.0	know how you survive every day thinking I didn't do it. I didn't do it. I didn't do
1:45.0	it. Is there a point where you have to let that go? I did.
