The U.S. just picked up a win in their debut against Canada.

Yes, it was a friendly, not a game that counts for the Olympics, which is still a few weeks away,

but a nice tune-up performance for the U.S. getting a win over a tough team Canada.

LeBron James, Anthony Davis, doing some really fun things out there.

We need to talk a little bit about that.

The Summer League Lakers, they found a way, found a way to lose to the Miami Heat earlier tonight.

We'll talk a little bit about that.

It looked like it was smooth sailing. They were going to get the win. And then somehow they clutched defeat from the jobs of victory. But we still saw some positives. Don't connect doing some things. Bronny James. I think people are piling on him a little too much. I actually thought he had a pretty good performance in this one, Colin Castleton, some of those

guys that we need to discuss. But you know what? I'll tell you what, going from watching a

summer league game to watching Team USA, it's almost like you're watching a different sport,

isn't it? When you go to in terms of the quality of play. And even though these national teams, the U.S. team, the Canadian team, they're not like,

they're not a club team where they're together for months and months and months at a time.

You can still see the cohesiveness, the chemistry and everything that's there just from

these top, top, top level players compared to what we see in say summer league action and it just goes to

show how wide the spectrum really is in terms of of basketball levels right because you know i

just interviewed blake hinson the other day and he was talking about how much better everybody is

in summer league than what he was used to in college. And now we're watching these national teams play.

Wow.

I mean, it is, it's a big, it's a jarring difference.

That's for sure.

But nonetheless, fun night, fun night, a lot of basketball for us to talk about.
