yesterday and i was here so neither one of us was at the John Diller Memorial.

But I remember seeing you that morning, the morning of the funeral, Peter King and his wife

and Bill O'Reilly and others standing online there with Rudy Giuliani and a host of other

New York great, such a sad day, but inspiring too, sitting in that church listening to Stephanie Diller. I almost can't believe it's been a year, but it's such a sad day, but inspiring too, sitting in that church listening to Stephanie Diller.

I almost can't believe it's been a year, but some days it feels like even longer, but at any

rate, yesterday was the one-year commemoration. Jessica Tisch spoke, the NYPD commissioner,

and she complained about criminal justice reform, bail reform, recidivism, the discovery laws.

So here we are, a year after Diller was basically assassinated, still talking about the same thing.

Yeah, it's actually very sad.

And, you know, I keep in touch with Stephanie on a regular basis.

And, you know, we have to really applaud her for her strength and her conviction and the fact that she, you know, goes through every day dealing with the devastation that she dealt with a year ago and raising their beautiful son.

And she stood on that altar the day of the funeral.

And I don't think

that there was a dry eye in that church. But she pled with leaders in Albany or so-called

leaders and said something needs to change. And it is sad. It's sad that a year later, and really
