I had a chance to have a chat with Dr. Christine Corbett Moran. now she is a post-doc at Caltech in astrophysics, but she's

on sabbatical right now because she's spent over 10 months at the South Pole research station. She wintered over in the South Pole and

I was able to get some time with her on the satellite phone so that we could have a chat before she leaves.
