I'm Mentor Mama, and today we are going to be doing something a little bit different.

Last week, Ashley put out an Instagram request asking for questions from our audience to be

answered by me, your mentor mama.

For those of you that don't know me, my name is Ellen, and I am a mom to three grown children,

two of which are Ashley and Taylor, your lovely co-hosts of Coffee and Bible Time YouTube

channel.

So just to set the stage a little bit, why have me answer your mentor mama questions?

Well, I want to preface this by saying that I have been part of a ministry for the last 20 years at our church, which is the village church of Gurney in Gurney, Illinois.

And it's a ministry called Moms.

And Moms is an acronym that stands for making our mothering significant.

And our mission is to teach scriptural truths, foster friendships, and enrich families.

And I can tell you that I have experienced all three of these things in my life by just showing up each week, doing the Bible study, and serving

in one capacity or another. It truly has been one of the greatest blessings in my life.

So I look back now and thank God for just how much I have grown in my spiritual walk,

for the incredible friendships that I have made,

and for how being involved in this ministry has had a trickle-down effect on my family.
