Hey guys, welcome back to According to, I'm Megan.

0:05.9

And I'm Sierra for this week's episode.

0:08.0

I really like those episodes where we get to just like chit-chat, answer some questions,

0:11.7

and we've done a lot of these kinds of episodes.

0:13.4

So I was like, how do we differentiate some more questions that we can answer?

0:17.0

So the topic for this episode is deep, like questions if that makes any sense i hope that my list

0:24.9

work i have like three random websites of just like giant lists yeah i was trying to be like questions

0:29.3

that will like make you ponder your thoughts and stuff like that maybe we have done something like

0:33.6

this i just can't think of one that we've done like that i just know we've done a lot of episodes where we find lists of questions and try and answer them. Um, so I have one that you guys really liked our interview episodes where we interviewed each other and then we did another one. Yeah, so it's kind of like similar kind of topic. And then we've had like one where we've taken some quizzes. I guess that's like not exactly the same thing. But so I just think this will be fun because

0:55.0

I like talking through our reasoning and that kind of thing. I think you guys like listening

0:58.5

to that and see if you can agree or disagree with us on, you know, how we answer these questions.

1:02.8

And I'm excited. But of course we have to do our weekly spotlight. So find something to be

1:08.2

grateful for this week. What is your weekly spotlight? And I actually have one that is genuinely a weekly spotlight for me. And today we figured out, so next summer, just for some background, are we have six week clinicals. So we, a couple weeks ago went through and like everyone kind of ranked what their spots would be you got to pick

1:27.6

seven you rank them and then they're all like throughout the state of iowa and they're supposed to be

1:32.0

all rural places so you're like limited basically there was like 44 spots and there's 44 people in

1:37.1

our class so everyone gets one spot there's like not like excess where it's like hopefully everyone

1:42.5

kind of like picks a place but today i found out i got my top pick and what's great about it is I am going. That was your top one? Yeah. Why didn't you put the closer one first? That is the closest one. I thought Charles City was like closer. No. Oh, never mind. I got my top pick which I was like number 29 so I wasn't sure. I definitely didn't think I was going to get my top pick, but I was like number 29, so I wasn't sure. I definitely didn't think I was

2:01.5

going to get my top pick, but I was kind of like, I'm not completely surprised because it's like in a part of Iowa where I know probably people don't have any reason to go there. The only reason I picked there was because it was super close to a grandparents' lake house, which is in Clear Lake. so I'm going to be living there for six weeks and I'm super excited about it. Yeah, I'm actually like,

2:00.9

I was the 44th pick, so lucky me, but I actually did get a spot that was in one of my seven, which I didn't think that would happen at all, because by default, I just get the last one. And so I'll be staying with my dad, but I'll have my clinical in Knox Knoxville which is like going to be a drive.

2:34.3

For both of us it's going to be a drive but it's better than paying for a place to stay. Because it's like close to an hour one way.

2:40.4

Which I know it's not ideal. Like it's going to kind of suck but I don't want to pay to live somewhere.

2:46.7

Mine's going to be a what is it? 45 or 55 minute drive. So it'll be doable for sure. Honestly, one of our professors literally commutes like an hour and a half. I know, that's crazy to me. And that's her actual job. Like, this is just like six weeks. So we'll be fine, and I'm super excited about it. Someone was going around in lab today because it was right at the end of lab when, I guess that must have been released and I'm just like so she's like going around telling people like what they got I'm just like well I'm not ready to like know what I got what if I got like my last choice even though honestly none of my choices like would have been horrible so yeah so that was good news that actually wasn't my weekly spotlight my insured to be separate that's going to be's going to be insane. Unless she'll come visit on the weekends, I'm sure.
