Hello and welcome back to Sociology 101.

Happy New Year to all of you who are tuning in as theology geeks on the first day of 2021.

Let's pray that it's a better year than the last one and that all

this pandemic stuff can get behind us and so that we don't have to wear these everywhere we go.

I will be looking forward to that. I've been praying for it. But I had some time this morning to

Theology Geek out with you, my friends, here on this particular Friday morning,

and to answer some of my other theology geek friends who happen to be on the more Calvinistic

side of things, who recently produced a video pretty much critiquing the Acrostic Provide,

much in the same way that we do sometimes on our program with regard to

the tulip. Sometimes we'll walk through tulip and show how we don't agree with them. Well, many of you

who have listened to the program for a need of length of time know that we have, you know,

gone through the tulip one at a time, and we have Calvinistic friends who oftentimes go through

and critique provisionism as well. And we have an across it called Provide, and beside it, we have,

you know, words that represent each of the letters, obviously, and then verses that would go with

those claims. And so here we have Derek Morel and David Lewis, both of which I've

talked to on our relative podcast before, either been on my podcast or vice versa. Genuinely good guys,

I think, I obviously think they're wrong. They're Calvinist, after all.

And so they're wrong, theologically, and they would say the same about me.

I think we both consider each other brothers.

They're relatively kind in their treatment and respectful in their treatment of me,

which is one of the reasons I'm taking the time to answer them.

It's funny how some of the Calvinists on social media will mock me for avoiding them
