This is why the Bible, in my view, can't be the real repository of our moral wisdom in any sense,

because when you go to read it, you are forced to ignore certain passages or reinterpret them rather aggressively

to conform to what you now in the 21st century have every reason to believe

is good or a direction worth going socially.

That's atheist Sam Harris, trying to make the case that the Bible isn't a good source

for morality.

So are there other sources?

Can say an atheist like Harris draw upon some some other standard, which to base his morality.

In the end, his morality ends up looking a lot like that of the Bible for the most part.

So does he account for that, what has to be for him, amazing coincidence?
