This is a podcast where we literally walk you through cleaning your house step by step.

0:12.3

So let's clean together.

Thanks for joining me. In today's episode, I'm going to talk you through quickly picking up your entire house. Now, you may not necessarily have anything on the floor, but you probably have some clutter on surfaces somewhere if you don't have anything on your floors. So it's time to gear up for our

0:40.6

cleaning session. You want to get your house smelling good. Maybe you want to put some fresh wax in the

0:48.8

wax warmer. Over the holidays, I kind of start out in like pumpkin spice mode and then I go into like

1:56.8

2:05.8

every single day someone picks up and vacuums the outer areas, which at our house includes a living

2:13.8

room and hallway. Sweeping the kitchen and dining room is a separate chore.

2:18.5

Okay. And you may have more common areas in your home than we do. But that is an everyday thing.

2:28.0

However, in a perfect world, a pickup wouldn't be necessary because when you leave a room, you should be taking your

2:37.4

shoes with you or if someone else forgot to pick something up, you should grab that and put that

2:45.0

away. That's kind of the goal. So ideally over time when they do the pickup and vacuum,

2:52.6

there shouldn't be a lot to pick up
