Can you, sir, tell us the story of Joaquin Herrera Avila and how this went up to an appellate court.

Yeah, this has to do with whether the government can detain someone illegally in the country without a bond hearing.

And that's the issue. That's what the Trump administration wants to do.

The opponents are saying, no, anyone found in the United States here illegally is at least entitled through an

immigration judge to a bond hearing. And that's the issue in the case. And it has to do with a statute

which says that essentially creates a presumption that someone must be detained

if they are seeking admission.
