My name is Todd Pruitt, and I'm joined as always by my co-host and my friend Carl Truman.

And the waters of evangelicalism have been stirring quite a bit lately.

For any number of issues, we've talked about some of those

issues right here on this program recently. But another quite devastating blow happened in the

revelations concerning Ravi Zacharias. Of course, Ravi Zacharias, who died not long ago. It was an internationally

known Christian apologist, very engaging communicator, quite skilled communicator, actually,

author of numerous books and a ministry that was very prosperous. And again, had an international worldwide reach.

Ravi has spoken in the largest venues in the world in terms of gatherings of Christians.

He was a speaker at the very first Veritas Forum years ago at Harvard University and has spoken on many university

campuses, both here and abroad. And then there were rumblings, Carl, of problems with Ravi's

biography in the recent years prior to his death, that maybe it was punched up a little bit

dishonestly in terms of

attributing a PhD to him, which he did not hold studies at Oxford or Cambridge, one of those

two universities, which turns out was a bit of an over-exaggeration, if I can quote a former

president.

And then, and those things kind of seem to go away, that they sort of massaged his online biography to try to be a little bit more in line with the truth.
